USA Today columnist Rob Pegoraro recently published an article titled, “Is Apple Pay not NFC?” The article focused on the blurring of Apple Pay and NFC. The article clarifies how NFC is the enabling technology that allows for vendors to take mobile payments via Apple Pay, Google Wallet, etc. eGate provided comment for the article that the TS product upgrade we created for JetBlue can take any type of mobile payment.
